Piezocision™ (PZ) Kit, composed of 4 ultrasonic tips, is dedicated to accelerated orthodontic surgery for adults.
These thin tips equipped with teeth are intended to perform flapless alveolar corticotomies.
Due to the ultrasonic frequency modulation, a selective cut is achieved in surgical mode. Therefore, PZ tips limit the risk of soft tissue injury such as gingiva, ligaments, periodontal fibers, and nerves. Cortical incisions are
performed through the gingiva, previously incised with a scalpel. The sterile spray helps to cool the tips avoiding tissue damage from exposure to high temperatures and provides excellent visibility of the operating field.
The main objective of this technique is to reduce the orthodontic treatment time and accelerate tooth movement.
These tips guarantee a fine, clean and effortless cut.
Piezocision II tip kit includes 4 tips - one of each of PZ1S II, PZ2L II, PZ2R II and PZ3 II tips and an autoclavable metal support and an autoclavable universal wrench.
